Silhouette Art

This is a really fun piece and you can even get your kids involved.
Material list:
Plaque from craft store
Acrylic Paint colors of your choice
Medium Gel
Paint brush
Photocopied paper of your silhouette that you're using.
(Note: Can not use it out of your printer. You need a different kind of ink.)
Water

You can also do this with letters or your favorite page out of a book. Doesn't have to be a silhouette.

First thing I did was apply some medium to give the plaque texture. Let that dry for about 2 hours depending on the thickness. Next I swirled some paint around to give it multi-dementional look. Let that dry. Next I apply another layer of medium this time pretty smooth and lay a photocopied silhouette right upon it. Press it down to get all of the creases out. You can use a credit card or something hard to spread it all out. Let that dry until really set/overnight. Next we wet the paper on the plaque down. and rub until your hands are going to fall off! You'll get a nice exfoliating hand massage while you craft! There you have it!
